Chicago Fire star Bastian Schweinsteiger sent a classy message to former club Manchester United as the Red Devils opened their pre-season tour in the United States.
Jose Mourinhos men drew 1-1 with Club America in Phoenix, Arizona to kick-start their five-game tour of America.
Schweinsteiger moved to the MLS in 2017 after two disappointing years at Old Trafford but the German commanded huge respect and admiration during his stay at the Theatre of Dreams.
And the veteran showed his class once again on Friday when he welcomed United across the pond with a message for his former team-mates on Twitter.

United have toured the United States in four of the last five summers and Schweinsteiger joined their 2015 tour after completing a £6.9m move from Bayern Munich.
The Red Devils take on San Jose Earthquakes on Sunday in their second game of the tour.
Alexis Sanchez, who missed the Club America draw due to a visa issue, will start against the Earthquakes after getting a waiver to enter the country.
