Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has refused to rule out a potential move for Sevilla star Steven Nzonzi.
Nzonzi has made 136 appearances for Sevilla since his move from Stoke City back in 2015 and has developed into one of the most highly-rated defensive midfielders in La Liga.
Emery knows Nzonzi well from their time together at Sevilla, where they won the Europa League in 2015/16, and its believed the Spaniard is keen to be reunited with his former player in north London.

Reports earlier this month claimed that Nzonzi had handed in a transfer request, with the France international looking to secure a move to the Emirates ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.
Asked about Arsenals interest in the Frenchman, Emery responded: I know him but we havent made a move for him.

The Gunners have already landed Stephan Lichtsteiner, Bernd Leno, Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Matteo Guendouzi and Emery hinted the club could still make more signings this summer.

He said: Normally, in my career the big clubs dont close the [door] or the moment to sign a new player. Today, we are OK.
Maybe we can bring in one if theres a very good possibility for them to help us, but the club has done a great job of signing new players and I am happy.
We signed the players who we needed and only if one player is a big opportunity for us will we sign them.
Normally, we are thinking about the young players, the possibility of them staying with us or going to play on loan at another team.

Aaron Ramsey is out of contract next summer and Emery confirmed that the Welshman is a key part of his plans.
Im very happy with him, the former Paris Saint-Germain boss said.
