Jack Wilshere says he is delighted to have completed a move to West Ham and revealed the key role new boss Manuel Pellegrini played in convincing him to switch allegiances.
The 26-year-old midfielder was officially unveiled by the Hammers on Monday and signs a three-year deal with the club, having been available on a free transfer after leaving Arsenal.
There had been suggestions that Wilshere might leave the Premier League and move abroad, but he is excited to join a club that is close to his heart.
He wrote on Twitter: Delighted to have officially signed for West Ham United!
After speaking with the manager and those at the club I knew my future was at the London Stadium and I cant wait to get going now.
