Football fans have brutally reminded Robert Lewandowski of a tweet he sent to his Bayern Munich team-mate James Rodriguez in December of last year about the upcoming World Cup.
Poland were dumped out of the World Cup by Colombia on Sunday thanks to a 3-0 defeat and a spectacular performance from Rodriguez.
Lewandowskis side were crushed by Colombia over the 90 minutes and Rodriguez set up two of their goals with two superb crosses.

It said: Hola mi Hermano James Rodriguez, I remember your great goals during the last World Cup. I hope you will remember mine from Russia
Lewandowski might cringe when he sees that tweet again, but there was no ill feeling between him and Rodriguez as Colombias talisman embraced a gutted Lewandowski at full-time.
