Liverpool have slapped a £15m price tag on striker Daniel Sturridge as the Champions League runners-up prepare to offload a string of peripheral members of their first team squad.
The 28-year-old suffered another injury-hit campaign last term, making just 20 appearances in all competitions, seven of which came while on loan at West Bromwich Albion.
But the six-month spell with The Baggies, who were relegated from the Premier League, was far from successful and leaves his career at Anfield looking discernibly bleak.

The Reds acquired Sturridge from Chelsea for £12m in 2013 but are looking to make a profit on the forward this summer, according to The Times.

La Liga side Sevilla and Turkish giants Fenerbahce are among the clubs interested in signing Sturridge, though there remains major hurdles to clear before either deal can be completed.
Sturridge currently earns £100,000-a-week and it is unlikely that cash-strapped Sevilla will be able to afford such a financial package.
Fenerbahce have a more solid financial grounding but it remains to be seen whether Sturridge feels a move to Turkey, a division below the pinnacle of European football, will be the best move for his career.
Jurgen Klopp is set to streamline his squad this summer, with Sturridge likely to be joined out of the exit door by goalkeeper Simon Mignolet, striker Danny Ings and winger Ryan Kent.
Mignolet ended last season as the number two behind Loris Karius and with a new keeper likely to arrive this summer his days are numbered.
Ings made 23 outings last season despite being behind Roberto Firmino and Dominic Solanke in the pecking order, though his Liverpool career appears to be coming to an end.
Twenty-one-year-old Kent signed a new contract last August but has had four loan spells in four years at Coventry City, Barnsley, SC Freiburg and Bristol City.
Kent made his one and only Liverpool appearance in the FA Cup draw with Exeter City in January 2016 but while Trent Alexander-Arnold has broken though, his opportunities have been limited.
