Arsenal are set to hold talks with former Paris Saint-Germain manager Unai Emery, according to reports.
Mikel Arteta is clear favourite to replace Arsene Wenger with the 36-year-old holding positive talks with Arsenals hierarchy last week.
But according to the Evening Standard, Emery is emerging as a late contender for the position and the Gunners are keen to hold talks.
The report claims that the 46-year-old has arrived in London on Monday and discussions with Arsenal are due to take place.
Emery guided PSG to a domestic treble this season but he opted to step down following a disappointing Champions League campaign in which his side crashed out to Real Madrid at the last-16 stage.

The Spaniard boasts a wealth of experience in Europe and has guided Sevilla to three consecutive Europa League trophies before he joined PSG.
Emery would also be available to Arsenal for no compensation fee as the French champions have already replaced him with Thomas Tuchel.
The new Arsenal boss has reportedly been given a £50 million budget, although that has the potential to increase through player sales.
Arteta remains in the driving seat to become Wengers successor and Manchester City have already indicated that they will not stand in the Spaniards way if he wants to return to his former club.
