Jonathan Oddi, the man arrested early Friday morning after opening fire at the Trump National Doral Miami resort, was a fitness buff who worked a side job as a stripper — and he was a big fan of First Lady Melania Trump.
The Miami Herald learned that Oddi worked for South Floridas Dancing Bear, a website where male dancers performed and engaged in sex acts with women for in-house videos.
The Herald also went through Oddis social media posts, even finding a few documenting his appreciation of the first lady.
He fawns over first lady Melania Trump: “#flotus rocks! She sets the example of mannerism. She counters Trumps aggressiveness,” he wrote in one post showing Melania Trump smiling in the White House.
Another post shows a Time magazine cover depicting Trump for a story about his troubles with porn star Stormy Daniels. “Reality is harsh,” Oddi wrote.
In the moments prior to his arrest, law enforcement officers said that Oddi was exchanging gunfire while ranting about President Donald Trump, former President Barack Obama, and rap mogul P.Diddy. (RELATED: Man Arrested After Shooting At Trump Doral Golf Club)
Oddi was shot in the lower extremities and transported to a hospital once the threat had been neutralized. One officer sustained an injury that was not gunshot-related.
