Manchester Uniteds goalless draw with West Ham on Thursday night will not live long in the memory.
A United side which included the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Paul Pogba toiled for 90 minutes against obdurate opponents and could muster just six shots on target, with Mourinho opting to leave youngsters Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford on the bench for the entire match.
Mourinho was without top scorer Romelu Luakaku, whose ankle injury has rendered him a doubt for next Saturdays FA Cup final, but the result and the performance left a sour taste in the mouths of United supporters.
Gone are the days of the cavalier football United were once famed for under Sir Alex Ferguson. Indeed, since the Scots retirement at the end of the title-winning 2012/13 campaign, no side has been involved in more 0-0 Premier League draws than the Old Trafford club, who are now level with Southampton on 19.

Although Mourinho has already won two trophies during his two year tenure and re-established United as a Champions League club, supporters are already beginning to grow tired of his negative tactics if the reaction on social media to last nights performance is anything to go by…
So to the people who are slating the players for bad performance!!!! Its clear to see that the tactics are so bad that we dont kno how to attack!! how matches have we seen to show you that mourinho is the problem put any player in the team and we still play the same boring way

Sums Mourinho up, at 0-0 takes of Sanchez and brings on a left Back Ashley Young, when Martial is on the bench
Thats why Mourinho will never be a fans favourite, too negative and too boring
The quicker he goes the better

I still dont understand people who are happy to accept points & results when the football is so boring.
Football is all about entertainment. Its literally why we all love it. Mourinhos & Moyes football is awful

2 substitutions in the 90th minute, 5 defenders and 3 defensive midfielders start against 15th in the league. Jose Mourinho will always play for a draw and hope to nick a 1-0 win. Boring boring football

Cant believe I have to see another season of this boring style of play!! People are happy for a manager to sell a young player to replace him for a 29/30yrs and the people who are backing mourinho im so sure your not happy with this boring football we are playing! pic.twitter.com/QSB4YpPk94

The most boring game I've watched this season. 7 defenders on the pitch, using all subs but mourinho wasn't playing for the draw uno
— Joe (@JoeLyons__) May 10, 2018
Imagine thinking any signing can change the way Mourinho sees and plays football. He can change 22 players this summer and we will still play the same boring, awful, slow and negative football we played in the last 2 years.
