Ive got to be careful in the first four rounds of this fight. One wrong calculation, one wrong adjustment, one step to the left and Im in trouble. Its literally a case of a hundreds of a second. If David Haye catches me with that right in the first three rounds I will hit the floor. I will get back up, but I can accept that.
No fighter ever admits they could go down, but I know it can happen. Thats what happens at this level. But if the tables are turned and I catch him with a left hook, hell go down as well. While he cant admit that, I can. That makes me even more dangerous because I accept these things and I understand hes a strong puncher. Some may say thats a weakness in my arsenal, but I know its a strength.

Haye has always had good coaches. Adam Booths a world class coach, Shane McGuigan has trained a double-weight world champion from scratch. Ismael Salas is nothing new. Theres only one man who has made it through Davids career. Hes sacked numerous coaches, numerous conditioning coaches, but one man has always been kept on board and thats Ruben Tabares. The guy who makes his muscles burst.
Hes been a constant fixture in the David camp. Youd have to ask David why, but it seems while everyone else falls by the wayside, he stays on. They created a style together that David still uses now. Im trying to figure out why. Hes a permanent fixture even after Davids had all these injuries, said his body is breaking down. If hes had all these problems in camp, why is Tabares still there?
David Haye is an egotistical maniac. Its one of the reasons he hates me. I cant be controlled. Im too unpredictable. Some days I wake up and I dont want to do this anymore, other days I wake up and absolutely love it.
I dont even know how Ill be in this fight. I keep telling myself I will be collected, but theres another part of me who just wants to punch his f****** face in. I genuinely dont know whats going to happen when the bell goes. I might just say F*** it, lets have a war.
I look at David as a plant plot. Hes a waste of talent. He should have been so much better than he was. If he had lived the correct lifestyle he could have been the best fighter this country has ever produced. It doesnt matter how big your talent is, this sport will find you out and I found him out.

Stephen Hawking may have had the best boxing brain in history, but he couldnt beat anyone in the ring. I cant name one attribute I have over David, but I will always beat him. Number one, because boxing is a way of life and I lived that life for 20 years. Number two, he hasnt. Thats the top and bottom of it really.
David Haye took away my opportunity to be a heavyweight world champion. Joseph Parker looked at me the same way David looks at me. I knew it when I looked in his eyes. Now Parker is saying he wants to fight the winner of me and David, but thats because he sees me as an easy touch.
I would have knocked him out in a heavyweight world championship fight. Anthony Joshua chose to box Parker, but I would have knocked him clean out. People can laugh at me. But once again, styles makes fights.

I will always be the fat Scouser, whatever happens in this fight. I dont mind that. Im not in this game to be remembered. Ive won everything I could possibly win and beat more people than anyone thought possible. What I done at Goodison Park makes me great in my mind.
Now Im just playing for the hidden levels, trying to get the boss car on Grand Theft Auto. Just trying to leave with a few extras from the game. If I beat David Haye Ill be remember as the man who ended his career, but that doesnt touch Goodison Park.
Everyone laughed when I told Haye in that final press conference last year that I would give him a rematch after knocking him spark out. The media, David – the entire room laughed.
Therell be no rematch this time. Its the retirement home for David Haye.
