Mohamed Salah has been crowned as the Professional Footballers Association Players Player of the Year after a remarkable debut season in the Premier League with the Reds.
The Liverpool winger has banged in 31 goals in 31 league starts for Jurgen Klopps side – equalling the record total of goals for a 38-game season.
He pipped Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne to the award, along with the Belgians team-mates David Silva and Leroy Sane, as well as Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea and Tottenham Hotspurs Harry Kane.
In the Young Player of the Year award, Sane was handed the award ahead of Kane and his City team-mate Raheem Sterling, while Chelsea ace Fran Kirby was crowned as Womens Player of the Year ahead of Ji So-Yun and Marin Mjelde. Bristol Citys Lauren Hemp was named Womens Young Player of the Year.

Salah is the seventh Liverpool player to win the main award, with Luis Suarez, Steven Gerrard, John Barnes, Ian Rush, Kenny Dalglish and Terry McDermott also scooping the accolade.
Despite there being six nominees, this years edition was largely viewed as a two-horse race between Salah and De Bruyne.
De Bruyne has been the heartbeat of a Manchester City side who have stormed to the Premier League title, scoring eight goals and providing 15 assists from a central midfield role.
But despite Citys dominance in the league, Salah has directly contributed to a remarkable 40 goals (31 goals, 9 assists) and was honoured as the standout player after a vote from his peers.
The pair were both named in the PFA Team of the Year earlier this week, with five City stars included.
