The 36-year-old, who left Manchester United last week, started on the bench for LA Galaxys derby clash against rivals Los Angeles FC, who were three goals in front after 48 minutes.
Sebastian Lletget and Chris Pontius struck in the second half to begin LA Galaxys comeback before Ibrahimovic was brought on as a substitute in the 71st minute.
And it took just six minutes for the Swede to make an impact as he caught Tyler Miller off his line and smashed a 40-yard half-volley over the Los Angeles FC goalkeeper.
Ibrahimovic followed up his stunning effort by completing LA Galaxys turnaround with the winning goal in injury time.

The former United striker got on the end of Ashley Coles cross and headed the ball past Miller.
