Several people have been shot at a church in South Texas, local media has reported.
Television stations KSAT and KENS have reported multiple victims after a man in "full gear" entered a Baptist church in Sutherland Springs, 30 miles of San Antonio, at around 11.30am on Sunday.
In a video posted by a witness on KSAT's Facebook page, a large police present can be seen near the church.
According to reports on KENS5, the gunman has been "taken down by police".
Scores of police vehicles and ambulances can be seen lined up outside the church as some of the witnesses post photos and videos on Facebook.
Sheriff Joe Tackitt confirmed to Wilson County News that there have been "multiple casualties and fatalities".
