Video updates have been a popular feature since Instagram was acquired by Facebook.
Taking videos while you’re away on a break or maybe when you are at your favourite artist’s concert and uploading them straight to Instagram is easy, but what if you want to download them, share them, and view them any time?
Whether it’s your own videos or quality content from your friends, downloading videos from Instagram is not as tricky as feared.
Here are a few ways to do it.
Android File Manager
As you’d expect, Android File Manager is on Androis smartphones, so this trick won’t work on your iPhone.
Instead of downloading apps to obtain your favourite videos, you can do this from here.
To do this, go to your phone’s file manager and then go to Data > com.instagram.android > Cache > Videos.
After that you just need to change the extension of one of the files to MP4 and then you will have videos on your phone.

Video Downloader for Instagram
An easy third party app to download is called the Video Downloader for Instagram.
This is great as you can download or repost videos from Instagram with a single push of a button.
The content is then added to your phone’s gallery app so you can watch the videos you want at any time.
PostGraber
PostGraber is great if you want to save time and download all pictures and videos that are related with a single Instagram post.
Most third party tools are able to obtain one piece of content per post; but with PostGraber you can download ALL the photos and videos from a single post (such as a gallery of videos posted on Instagram).

To do this, all you will have to do is go onto the PostGraber site and paste the URL of the Instagram post you want to download and click go.
All the content should appear in your downloads.
Regrammer
IOS users, fear not, we have not left you out
There are a host of apps in the App Store, but many of them contain ads and in-app purchases, and are difficult to use.
Regrammer, meanwhile, is free.
When you have the app, open it and paste in the Instagram URL, and click preview.
You can then choose to either download the video onto your device or repost it.
Be warned though – before you try to download any Instagram content from the app on to your device you should know that Instagram has some strict rules regarding copyright.
