Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish insists it would be ridiculous if any club made a late bid for Chelsea target Wilfried Zaha as the transfer deadline fast approaches.
Both the Blues and Tottenham have been reportedly eyeing Zaha during the summer and the winger is said to be open to joining Chelsea after enjoying another productive campaign with Palace last season.
According to the Evening Standard, however, the Eagles are not willing to sell their star man as they would have no time to replace him and the chairman has therefore stated that any clubs wishing to make late bids would be wasting their time.

To go the whole window and only think about it now to come in with a bid would be ridiculous, Parish said.
Wilfried is very important to us and it is great we have kept the squad together. We have managed to add and that [keeping Zaha] has made it easier because we have not had much to do.
Zaha is one of the most popular players in the team and has made almost 150 appearances for the club in two stints in south London.
Crystal Palace value the Ivory Coast international at around £70m but are are adamant he will not be leaving ahead of their Premier League opener against Fulham on Saturday at Craven Cottage.
Borussia Dortmund have also been keeping tabs on the 25-year-old forward and will be able to make a bid until the transfer window closes for the rest of Europe later this month.
However, Palace seem set to snub any offers coming after today as they wont be able to bring in a substitute for their star man.
Chelsea have at least signed Kepa Arrizabalaga for a world record £71.8m and made him the most expensive goalkeeper in football while Mateo Kovacic also joined from Real Madrid on loan.
