Liverpool fans threw bottles and objects at the City team bus when it arrived at Anfield for the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final last week.
There is talk online that City supporters will look to replicate a similarly hostile environment for the second game on Tuesday night.

He said: I cant comment on what happened before the game. I had no control over that. We just need to be ready for the football match. Thats the only thing we can have influence on.
